Investing in today’s market the Monday Morning Millionaire Program way

Saving alone is very unlikely to grow to be large enough for a comfortable retirement. We simply must invest. Over more than 100 years in the past, investing in the stock market has been given the best results. (See chart above.)

The short-term uncertainty when investing in the stock market, such as we have today, is irrelevant for investors with a long-term view. Money that we will want to use in the next five years does not belong in the stock market. Investing the Monday Morning Millionaire Program way is very likely to provide a comfortable retirement.

The three most important elements for long-term success are time, diversification and low costs.

  1. Time allows compound interest to work its magic on our portfolios. It has worked its magic in Warren Buffett’s career for nearly 70 years.
  2. Investing in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) which parallels the S&P 500 provides all the diversification that investors need. Warren Buffett wants most of his estate invested this way.
  3. Investing in this same ETF is the lowest cost way of buying the American market, the strongest in history.

Wall Street wants us to believe that investing is brain surgery or rocket science. Monday Morning Millionaire Program members know that it can be taught to a high school student.

Investing the Monday Morning Millionaire Program way does not require a lot of luck. However, we wish you luck, regardless.
